Christmas DIY - Bauble / Ornament Wreath - Easy & Cheap!

I love a good Christmas DIY - especially when it saves me a lot of cash! If you are anything like me you will love this tutorial for a Christmas wreath made out of Christmas ornaments / baubles!

You can tailor the colours to your chosen holiday theme and add extra embellishments or keep it simple. The best part? I BOUGHT ALL OF THE COMPONENTS FROM MY LOCAL POUND SHOP! These wreaths are expensives in stores so save some money this Christmas and get creative!

These make great gifts and really brighten up your home!

So quick and easy - no one will believe you made it yourself! If you give this a go leave me a comment or tweet me @belleangeuk showing me your creation!

Singing Penguin - Disney Frozen 'LET IT GO'

Singing Penguin - Disney Frozen 'LET IT GO'

Elena and I had great fun filming this video using the free Talking Penguin app from the App Store and my lovely voice (lol)! Elena is very intrigued by the app as you can see if you watch to the end of the video!

Elena and I are huge fans of Disney films and Frozen has exploded this year! Since Elena was born I have sung Let it Go and Do you Want to Build a Snowman to her and she loves it!

By no means is the editing perfect but it was fun to do and I hope you like it!

Elena and I wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Our daughter the dolphin (hyena?) - 4 month old finds her soprano voice!

Elena has found her voice...and apparently she's a soprano!

Not sure who taught Elena to scream and squeal but she has quite the vocal range! It's quite funny when our dog, Abbie, runs around trying to work out what is making her baby scream!

Our drama princess is 20 weeks old in this video.

My Breastfeeding Experience

Who ever said that breastfeeding was easy??

In this video I share my experiences with breastfeeding my daughter, Elena. Before she was born I planned to exclusively breastfeed but I found out the hard way that something so natural doesn't always come naturally at all!

39+ Week Pregnancy Update & MEET OUR BABY GIRL!!

We are back to introduce the newest member of our family!

It might be four months late but I have finally found the time to share my 39 - 40 week pregnancy update and introduce our beautiful daughter, Elena Elizabeth, who was born on 4th July 2014. She is a joy and makes me smile all day every day! She is, of course, a mini fashionista and loves looking at the colourful clothes hanging in her closet already!

As for me, I am on a mission to lose the rest of the baby weight so that I can fit back into the amazing clothes in my fashion cupboard - almost there! I grudge buying bigger sizes when I won’t get the chance to wear them for long (I hope!) so I am working hard and aiming for Christmas!

In the meantime, Elena keeps me rather busy – hence the lack of activity on this blog and on my YouTube channels. Apologies! As all mummies will attest, a baby takes over your whole life! I’m lucky if I get time for a quick shower and bite to eat when Elena naps! We are working on finishing the nursery just now – just some final décor to add and it will be done. I love it – it’s definitely the most serene room in our home.

Keep tuned for more mummy/baby themed videos on YouTube as I show you around our daughter's nursery!

In this video I describe my experiences and symptoms in Weeks 39 - 40 of pregnancy. If you have watched my earlier pregnancy updates you will already know that Elena was measuring big and the doctors had some concerns over whether I would be able to deliver naturally. Make sure you check out my 39 – 40 week update to find out what happened!

I wish all new or soon-to-be mummies and daddies all the very best! Being a parent is hard work but I have never had a more rewarding job and I know that I never will!

Hear Me Roar! - Maternity Edition

Today I am 39 weeks and 5 days pregnant - just 2 days away from my due date! How time has flown!

The pressure is now on to get everything ready for the new arrival!

I must admit that I am looking forward to getting back in shape and having more options on what to wear from my closet! In the meantime, I am staying cool in the sunshine in maxi dresses like this one by Next. It isn't a maternity dress but it is floaty enough to embrace the bump!

I have resorted to wearing my wedding and engagement rings around my neck as my fingers swell up in the heat - hopefully I will be able to wear them on my finger again after baby girl makes an appearance!

Look out for my 39 weeks + video in the next couple of weeks. Today (28th June) I am 39 weeks + 3 days. I can't believe we will be meeting baby girl any day now! Exciting (and also rather terrifying)!

This weekend we are busy getting the nursery ready so look out for a nursery tour video in the next few weeks once we have it all finished!

Pregnancy Update Weeks 35 - 36

This video logs my experiences and symptoms in weeks 35 and 36 of pregnancy.

I had another growth scan and two midwife/ consultant appointments as well as my first 3 hour long ante natal class!

Apologies for the delay in uploading this video - the nesting instinct has kicked in and I can't stop tidying the house and preparing the nursery for baby girl!

Wedding Guesting - Maternity Edition

I love a good family wedding and travelling down to St. Albans at over 37 weeks pregnant was actually a lot less uncomfortable than I thought it would be! Well worth it to see my younger cousin walk down the isle looking stunning! It was a 'tale of three bumps' because two of my cousins are also expecting and it was so fun to compare bumps and see all of us together!
Dressing for a wedding when you are heavily pregnant isn't the easiest of challenges but I loved this dress by New Look which I picked up in their maternity sale. I did feel that it had gotten mysteriously shorter than when I had tried it on the week before - clearly baby girl had had a growth spurt! - but it was still super comfortable. I teamed the dress with my Zara blazer and a rose headband from Accessorize and I was wedding guest ready!
I wore a pair of Zara nude heels to finish the outfit off but much to my dismay the heel started to come away from the shoe by the end of the day which is not particularly safe for a heavily pregnant lady so they will be going back! :(
All round a fantastic day and a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Amy and Kegan on their marriage - I wish you all the best in your future together!

Maternity Edition - To the Max

I love a good maxi dress but I'm almost always too short to wear one with flats. This maternity version was no different - I had to roll it up a little at the bust and wear heeled ankle boots but, as my bump grows, I am hoping it will be the perfect length for June sunshine!
I love the print on this maxi - the top is plain black but the skirt has a colourful aztec style print which keeps things interesting. Best of all? It was in the sale and let's face it we all love a bargain! At the moment, the New Look sale is buy one get one half price - that's on all sale items, not just maternity - so I felt justified to pick up a few new items for summer!
Until the weather heats up a little, I am pairing this with a staple long cardi from Primark and my trusty Rebecca Minkoff mini mac in fuschia.
Let the countdown to my due date of 2 July begin! :)

Maternity Edition - Feeling Dotty

Looking chic with a bump is a daily challenge especially as the weather begins to heat up (albeit slowly).
I am loving this spotty shift dress from H&M Maternity - not only is it super comfortable but paired with a navy blazer it keeps me looking smart for the office as my baby continues to grow and grow!
I am also obsessed with flats right now as heels become less and less appealing - these black suede flats were a bargain from Accessorize - I am a sucker for details and the gold metal rose toes make them a little extra special. Finally, a bright neon bag and I am out the door! You know I can't resist a pop of colour!

If you are expecting, check out H&M's maternity 'MAMA' range online. No one wants to spend a fortune on clothes they only get to wear for a few months but equally we want to look our best right girls!

Maternity Edition - Ditzy Daisies

As the weather finally turns from, frankly, depressing to slightly hopeful, it feels good to be back in summer dresses and little jackets instead of my winter uniform of jeans and parka. Not that it's quite what you would call summer weather yet - so I teamed my maternity daisy print dress from New Look with tights to avoid the Spring chill.

New Look are having a massive sale right now and maternity wear is included - when I went last week all sale items were buy one get one half price so I felt much less guilty spending money on myself! As my baby bump continues to grow, I will be living in floaty dresses for the rest of Spring! Bring on the sunshine!

Missing In Action

Hi strangers!

Yes it has been a looong time since I posted - my apologies! But I have some news! I have been completely MIA because my growing belly has required me to think out of the box on the fashion front - that's right we are expecting a myfashioncupboard baby in late June or early July!

Super exciting but I have to admit it has taken me some time to get comfortable with my changing body shape (and the fact I can no longer fit into any of my clothes - sob) and I have been rather camera shy these past few months as a result!

However, I have had requests from some of my fellow mothers-to-be to get posting some outfit ideas on how to dress the bump! So I am putting my insecurties aside and embracing the maternity market.

So radio silence no longer - I promise! Keep a look out for maternity wear posts coming up along with the odd baby buy (because baby clothes are now so much cuter to me than adult clothes!)

To any soon-to-be or new mummy's out there - I welcome your ideas so get commenting!

Blogger Sale!

There comes a time in every fashion bloggers life when she has to admit to herself that there is just no more room to squeeze new buys into her closet! Or, in my case, her 5 closets...so I have come to this conclusion and am clearing the decks!

The good news is that you can pick up some amazing items at bargain prices from my eBay listings!

I will be uploading more and more over the coming weeks so keep checking back for plenty of Zara, Topshop, Monsoon, Oasis and more! Many of which still have the tags on and have never been worn!

Happy browsing! x
