London Love

I am off to London this weekend for my - shh, don't tell anyone - dreaded 30th birthday! If I really must leave my 20s behind me I need to do it in style. With cocktails. Champagne. And possibly shots...

So Ange and I are off to London's famous May Fair hotel - official hotel of London Fashion Week - for a weekend of glitz and glamour (and possibly a well-heeled celeb or two)!

I will be blogging the entire time to keep you informed of what is hot in the capital, what we're doing and what we're wearing whilst doing it!

It may be the end of an era but it is the beginning of a whole new fashion chapter (and the need to invest in some serious anti-aging products! Recommendations welcome).

Blogging from Belfast

Working in Belfast this week and I am staying in the stylish (and rather dark) Malmaison hotel - aptly located for the shops. Naturally!

Speaking of which I spent some of my kindly gifted birthday money on this amazing beaded collar by Biba from House of Fraser. This will be perfect to jazz up a simple tshirt for lunch at The Ivy on Saturday - I can hardly wait!

Dark it may be but the Malmaison does not skrimp on their bathroom products - they smell devine!

Happy Birthday to Me!

I love birthdays! Not the getting older part obviously. That I could do without. But oh the presents...!

I have been blessed with very generous friends and family, all of who have worked very hard to make my getting older day just a little bit more bearable!

Thanks everyone for the kind gifts - I really appreciate your thoughts! I will be drowning mine in champagne at the weekend in the bar at the Mayfair with Ange (don't miss the blog - I am even being spoilt with a trip to hot celeb hang out The Ivy!!! Excited? Are you kidding?!)

I got cozy in my new favourite faux fur coat by ASOS for a hair appointment and shopping in Glasgow today. I am always rushing from one appointment to another so it is really important that these River Island boots are comfortable but stylish at the same time. This is a great shopping outfit - comfortable but chic. I love this studded gem necklace from River Island - it adds a little drama to a simple shirt.
